stout. The fixture from flange to flange was made from a set of stock mid pipes, the stock mid pipes are installed into the fixture after each time the fixture is used, this makes sure that the fixture does not change over time. We install the pipes on many different cars and the same set of pipes fits different cars differently due to the reasons explained in my other post below. I remember one car was so far off, I thought it had to be the pipe. We checked the pipe in the fixture and it fit exactly like the stock pipe fit in the fixture, we tested it on another car and it fit perfect. On that car we had to use a 3/8" flange and a gasket on either side as a spacer. The stock hangers on the trans bends easy, so do the hangers on stock pipes, and our test pipes. When the hangers are bent, they generally want to rotate and move the pipes to one side or the other of the trans tunnel and this will cause one pipe to appear longer. If your stock pipes fit, more than likely your test pipe hangers are bent. The next time your working on your exhaust, check the fitment of the pipes in the tunnel. You can easily bend the pipes hangers to center the pipes in the tunnel, you will find when the pipes are center, the exhaust pipes will be the same length.
